COVID Updates Draft

June 5, 2020 Update

Dear Valued Registrants,

Following recent reports from the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and due to the standing travel bans on health care providers, hospitals and institutions, out of an abundance of caution, we have made the necessary decision to cancel Heart Failure Management 2020.

Please note the following important points for registered attendees:

  • Attendees have the opportunity to transfer their registration fee payment for the 2020 conference to Heart Failure Management 2021, taking place July 15-18, 2021 in Amelia Island, FL. To opt-in to have your registration transferred, fill out our online form: Registration Opt-In by June 15, 2020. All those who do not fill out the form will have their registration fee refunded automatically after this date.
    • If you registered at the regular rate and wish to opt-in for Heart Failure Management 2021, you will be automatically registered at the 2021 Early Registration Rate, and will receive a partial refund of the difference between your 2020 Regular Registration fees and the 2021 Early Registration Fees.
  • Attendees who have made reservations at hotels will need to cancel reservations on their own. Cancellation is subject to the terms of your individual reservation.
  • FAQ’s, past and additional updates will be emailed, posted, and archived to https://heartfailure.cme.ufl.edu/covid-info/

Our number one priority is to protect and maintain the health of our attendees, providers, and patients. We hope that you are able to join us next year.

Sincerely,

UF Continuing Medical Education on behalf of course directors:
